i just recently installed a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 on a GB X38-DQ6, and it is so fast right out of the box! i can even overclock to 3.2Ghz stable with just auto settings, voltages, timings etc.. i’m sure with a little manual tweaking it’d go alot higher like ArnieNY’s review states. i’ve seen in forums people saying how the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 won’t overclock like a Q6600, WRONG, this baby loves being overclocked! paired with a 9800GX2, i got 10243 in 3DMark Vantage, just over 15000 in 3DMark06.. but like i said itt’ll go alot faster. Get one now cus they do go fast!
